There are two Bunfights per year that SUWS attends - these are events during which freshers are invited to stands belonging to societies to see which ones they would like to join. It is an important event for recruitment of new members.

The first bunfight is the SUSU bunfight, on the Wednesday in Freshers' Week. It involves all SUSU societies. The second one is the FPSE bunfight, on the Thursday in Freshers' Week. It involves only FPSE societies.
